The Matchday 6 fixture of the group stage of the 2025/26 Conference League between Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia) and Häcken (Sweden) will take place on December 18 at Tehelné pole stadium. Slovan Bratislava vs Häcken: prediction and betting odds, statistics.
Slovan Bratislava
The Slovaks travelled to Shkëndija in the previous round and were beaten 2-0. It was their fourth defeat in the current group stage, so it is unsurprising that the team sits outside the top 24. The club can no longer qualify for the play-offs regardless of the result in the remaining game. Additionally, note that Bratislava have lost seven of their last eight Conference League matches (one win).
- Both teams scored in 8 of Slovan’s last 11 matches in this competition.
- Slovan have avoided defeat in 10 of their last 13 home games in the Conference League (5 wins and 5 draws).
- Exactly two or three goals were scored in 5 of Slovan’s last 6 home fixtures in this European competition.
Probable Slovan Bratislava starting XI (3-4-3)*
Dominik Takáč – Kenan Bajrić, Kevin Wimmer, Guram Kashia – Rahim Ibrahim, César Blackman, Peter Pokorný, Sandro Cruz – Vladimír Weiss, Nino Marcheli, Róbert Mak.
Häcken
The Swedes also have just three points and, with one round remaining, have lost any chance of finishing in the top 24. In the previous round they still had hopes of reaching the play-offs but were held at home by AEK (1-1). Consequently, the club heads into the final matchday without a victory in this group stage (three draws and two defeats).
- In their last 10 Conference League matches the club have managed just one win (4 draws and 5 defeats).
- Both teams scored in 11 of Häcken’s last 13 matches in this competition.
- At least three goals were scored in 9 of the Swedes’ last 13 Conference League games.
Probable Häcken starting XI (4-3-3)
Etrit Berisha – Julius Lindberg, Filip Helander, Marius Lode, Adam Lundqvist – Simon Gustafson, Silas Andersen, Mikkel Djurhuus – Isak Brusberg, Amor Layouni, Adrian Swanbeck.

Slovan Bratislava vs Häcken: Match Prediction
Neither side has any tournament motivation going into this fixture. For that reason I favour the Slovaks, who will be playing at home. The Scandinavians finished their domestic season about a month ago, so this will be their last match of the year — it is likely that Häcken’s players already have one eye on the winter break and will not be fully motivated in a dead-rubber game.
I would also point out that the Swedes have not won away in the Conference League in their last five matches, picking up two draws and suffering three defeats in that run. By contrast, Slovan, despite a poor group campaign, have shown decent form at home — in their last 13 home fixtures in this European competition they have lost just three. With that in mind, as a precautionary option I will back Slovan Bratislava with a handicap (0).
