Review of the bookmaker TabTouch from Legalbet

TabTouch is another veteran bookmaker in Australia, having been launched back in 1998. This Sydney-based bookmaker holds over 300 betting outlets throughout Western Australia and declares about 25000 active users on their Internet platform. TabTouch is a reputable bookmaker amongst the Australian punters and is licensed and regulated by the WA Department of Local Government, Sport & Cultural Industries.

The TabTouch website looks very clean and the interface is super easy to use. The three-column layout scheme of the website is intuitive, with the sports menu on the left-hand side, upcoming and current events in the centre and the bet slip on the right-hand side.

Unfortunately, there is no dedicated mobile app at the moment of writing this review, but TabTouch offers a mobile version of the site that works well on all kinds of devices.

Odds - Poor

We calculated the margin for TabTouch by analyzing the odds they offer. We further ranked them in one of the following three categories:

From 1% to 5%: Low

From 5.01% to 7%: Normal

From 7.01% to 10%: High

Soccer

We got our results by taking into account the odds for final result outcomes measured in line with the over / under for different soccer leagues. Getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.

TabTouch has an overall average margin of 7.99% for soccer and falls in the high margins category. In the first section with Spanish La Liga and Seria A, the margin is at 7.74%. With Premier League and Championship, in the second section, the margin is at 6.97%. Finally, taking the Netherlands Eredivisie, Polish Ekstraklasa and Austrian Bundesliga into account, the margin is at 9.24%.

Range of Sports and Markets - Poor

Unfortunately, the sports coverage at TabTouch isn’t great, but the good news is that it includes the most popular sports. This means that if you’re looking for some less popular sports, you won’t be able to find them here. However, at TabTouch you can definitely bet on soccer, cricket, tennis, horse racing, rugby and even E-Sports.

Football

The depth of football betting is definitely lacking here as for most football games, the punters can only bet on three main betting markets: win, line and over/under. This isn’t great at all, as most bettors are looking for at least 100 betting markets available for every football match.

You can place both singles and accumulators, but without the availability of more betting markets that can be a struggle.

Live betting isn’t available through the website despite the fact that the odds are visible. However, you can place a live bet through the phone, and one of the TabTouch operators will place your chosen bet for you.

Horse Racing

The horse racing section features both national and international races from around the world. The upcoming horse races can be seen right in the centre of the website, while the future meetings can be found under the ‘Meetings’ tab.

The most popular horse racing bets available at TabTouch are win, place, each way, quinella, trifecta and multis.

However, similar to the football section, the horse racing betting markets are few in comparison with other competitors and there aren’t that many promotions.
